Assistance For Parents

1)  Have a scheduled time and location for your child's homework.  ALWAYS do homework at the same time and place.  Don't schedule other activities for your children during this time.

2)  Check the first couple of problems that your child does.  If they are on the right track, let them finish and look over the assignment when they are finished.

3)  Don't sit next to your children throughout the assignment.  It is not your assignment; it is your child's assignment.

4)  Allow your child to get up an take frequent breaks.  Your child will do much better on the assignment.
